Emergency Preparedness in Franklin County

The Franklin County Health Department coordinates with local emergency management initiatives to assure readiness for the Franklin County community. Public Health Preparedness and Response is a part of the Division of Public Health that monitors and strengthens, the abilities of our public health and healthcare systems to protect the public in the event of a disaster situation such as disease epidemics, chemical and radiological releases, severe weather and natural disasters.
