Family planning services are provided to ALL people who desire assistance in postponing or planning pregnancy. The program provides preconception care, contraceptive counseling and supplies, physical examination including pap smear, STD testing, and related preventitive health services (e.g., screening for breast and cervical cancer). All services are strictly confidential.
Uninsured individuals are charged based on income. Medicaid and some private insurances are accepted. Patients are seen by appointment. Parental consent is not required for these services.
Family Planning Education
- Family Planning education is completed on a one-on-one basis at the time of the initial visit with a nurse and/or provider.
Emergency Contraception is available to all women.
The emergency contraception pill is most effective if given within 24 hours of unprotected intercourse.
Should your birth control method fail, you can receive medication to prevent pregnancy if you contact us within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex.
