Tax Foreclosure Sale:
On July 29th at 10:00 am, a tax foreclosure sale will occur at the Franklin County Court House for the tax parcels 003557, 019001, 035622 and 037512.
On August 1st at 12:00 pm, a tax foreclosure sale will occur at the Franklin County Court House for the tax parcels 000906, 003904, 009123, 009306, 017500 and 022847.
Effective April 1st, 2015 the Franklin County Register of Deeds will no longer accept any deed transferring real property for registration unless the Franklin County Tax Collector has certified that no delinquent ad valorem taxes, or other taxes that the administrator is charged are a lien on the property.
Our office will be available weekdays (excluding county observed holidays) from 8am to 5pm to provide the tax certification services at no charge. You may stop by either the Collections or Assessing departments to have your deeds certified prior to recordation. If you participate in eRecording with the Register of Deeds office, the electronic system will accommodate the correct routing of the deeds for you.
