Solid Waste Task Force
Franklin County Solid Waste Task Force members are appointed by the Franklin County Board of Commissioner. Most positions are volunteers.

Betty Edwards - Member

- Retired January 31, 2003 from Franklin County Dept. of Social Services
- Married 1960 to Ray Edwards (45 years in July)
- 3 children and 2 grandchildren
- Active member Corinth Baptist Church serving on financial committee and in the choir.
- My interest: Promoting litter prevention and encouraging citizens to take pride in their community and keep their community litter free.
- My hobbies are traveling and hiking in our state parks, boating, fishing and acting like a kid again playing with my grandchildren.

- Married to Pierre Giani for over 37 years
- Mother to two daughters and grandmother to two girls, Sarah and Heather
- Personal philosophy, "If each person contributes in just a small way everyday, such as recycling, having organic gardens and avoids littering, together the efforts would have a positive impact on the environmental health of the world in which we live".
