Franklin County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office currently has 2 K-9s that are assigned to the S.C.O.P.E. Unit. K-9 Oli and K-9 Qattro were trained by Southern Police Canine, Inc. in narcotics detection, evidence search, and tracking. Even though the K-9s are used to track fleeing suspects, they are also used to track lost children and missing elderly people.
K-9 Oli and K-9 Qattro are often requested to do presentations and demonstrations at local civic, church, school and community events. This gives the citizens a first-hand look at the K-9s and also a chance to ask questions of the handlers.
K-9 Oli's handler is Deputy Jonathan Wells
K-9 Qattro's handler is Deputy Antoine Eaton
