Employee Assistance Program
Franklin County provides employees with access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provides confidential assessment, referral and follow-up services to help employees who may be experiencing personal problems. Employees are entitled to five visits per calendar year at no cost to them. This benefit extends to spouses and eligible dependents of the employee.
The EAP can be effective in addressing a variety of problems including:
- Alcohol & Drug Problems
- Relationship Issues
- Emotional Difficulties
- Marital & Family Conflicts
- Employment Concerns
- Financial Instability
- Conflict with Co-Workers or Supervisors
- Medical Issues/Pain Management
- Spirituality Issues
- Stress Management
- Weight/Body Image Issues
Participation in EAP services is confidential and will not jeopardize job security or opportunity for promotion.
