AMBER Alert Program
An AMBER Alert (America's Missing: Broadcasting Emergency Response) is a child abduction alert notification, or bulletin used in many countries throughout the world that is issued upon the suspected abduction of a child. Originally named for a 9 year old child who was abducted and murdered in Arlington, TX in 1996, they can be distributed by way of radio, TV, satellite radio, e-mail, electronic traffic signs, LED billboards, as well as SMS text messaging.

SILVER Alert Program
A SLIVER Alert is a public notification system, used to broadcast information to the public about missing, or endangered adults that suffer from dementia, or other cognitive impairments. These adults often become disoriented and confused. It is imperative that these adults be returned to their caregivers. A SILVER Alert is broadcasted in many ways like an AMBER Alert.
