Services for Businesses
The Franklin County Economic Development Commission offers a wealth of resources and networks to support business growth and development at every stage.
Expanding and Relocating Companies
Successful companies seeking to relocate or expand to a thriving U.S. east coast destination will find a business climate and community ready to support their growth.
The EDC offers comprehensive, confidential site selection services, data and resources, and connections to companies and agencies that can help before, during and after the move.
Existing businesses form the backbone of the county’s thriving economy. We provide key linkages to a regional and state network of business, government, education and nonprofit support agencies that collaborate to identify and meet the needs of local businesses.
We connect entrepreneurs with counseling, services and networks to support their startup and growth, such as the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the nation's premier entrepreneurship support organization, and Small Business and Technology Development Centers located throughout the region.
Revolving Loan Funds
Your business may qualify for a Revolving Loan Fund via Kerr-Tar Council of Governments Revolving Loan Fund or the Franklin County Committee of 100 Revolving Loan Fund. To find out about eligibility, contact the Franklin County Economic Development Commission office.
