The Franklin County Animal Shelter has many great pets for adoption. Adoption hours are 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday and 10:00 AM - 2:oo PM on Saturdays.
Pet visitations end 30 minutes prior to closing daily.
Potential pet adopters are encouraged to visit the
Franklin County Animal Shelter to visit adoptable animals "in person".
Lost Animals
If you have lost a pet, please call the Franklin County Animal Shelter as soon as possible. We strongly encourage you to visit the shelter promptly to see if your pet has been impounded.
Animal Services holds stray animals for a 3-day period in which we are open to the public. Please contact us immediately if your pet is lost. Please refer to our Animal Ordinance section for further details.
