Board
of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body composed of representatives from Franklin County which are given certain powers under and relative to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). There are five regular members on the board and two alternates. The Board will select one chairperson, vice chairperson and clerk
annually.
The primary responsibility
of the Board of Adjustment
is to review Variance
petitions and Conditional
Use permit applications.
In order for a petition
or permit to be granted,
four out of five members
must decide in favor
of the applicant.
